BIOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY EMPHASIS

The Department of Anthropology’s major with emphasis in Biological Anthropology is designed to prepare majors for careers in the biological and evolutionary sciences, such as human evolutionary genetics, paleoanthropology, and anthropological demography. The emphasis is ideal for students desiring rigorous theoretical training combined with hands-on practical experience through our various labs and field programs.
